Cooking Classes
We will allow you thank to the help of Donna Giuliana to immerse yourself in the more authentic culture and tradition of Sicily learning you how to cook authentic Sicilian meals in an informal and friendly environment.
Daily courses
The ideal course for who can’t spend much time and want to quickly learn to cook a perfect Sicilian meal from appetizer to sweets. Recipes vary according to the season, utilizing only the freshest ingredients available and providing you with a deeply individual Sicilian experience. The lesson always concludes and include the meal that you and your teacher trainer have cooked with wine and drinks included in the price.

Non participant at cooking classes having lunch 30 euro.
The program include:
One day cooking class of four hours.
Lunch at Casale having what you and your teacher have cooked. In the price are included wines and drinks..
The program does not include:
Accommodation and dinner in Casale.
Transfers at/from Casale. We can arrange transfers at/from Casale; however we recommend car hire.
Payment:
At least 30% of total course fees to be paid after booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 30 days before the course commences.
Three days courses (4 nights)
We will allow you thanks to the help of Donna Giuliana to immerse yourself in the more authentic culture and tradition of Sicily learning you how to cook authentic Sicilian dishes in an informal and friendly environment. Classes are limited to10 participants. The classes are small enough to accommodate cooks of all levels and are ideal for small groups of family and friends. It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the day enjoying the sea beaches of Cefalù and the surroundings in Madonie Park, sightseeing or playing golf and could then join the group at dinnertime.
First day:
Arrive at Casale after lunch. Accommodation in your room. Time to know the other guests and welcome dinner offered by the family. Introduction to the program..
Second Day:
First cooking class: The art of frying in Sicily. You will learn how to make “pastella” to fry vegetables and fish (tempura was invented not by Japanese but by Sicilians. Portuguese people took this recipe in Japan), “arancini” (delicious stuffed rice balls), “crocchè” (typical Sicilian dish made of smashed potatoes” e panelle (typical Sicilian dish made of chickpea flour) and “panzerrotti”. Lunch at Casale. Afternoon free. Dinner at Casale.
Third day:
Second cooking class: The art of tomato sauce and the art of home made pasta You will learn how to make an authentic tomato Sicilian sausage. With tomatoes and vegetables of “orto” of Casale, you will learn how to make home made pasta. Lunch at Casale. Afternoon free. Dinner at Casale
Fourth day:
Third cooking class: We will learn you 7 recipes to make a perfect Sicilian meal from appetizer to sweets. Lunch at Casale. Afternoon free, Dinner at Casale..
Program Prices:
Program Prices Rate per person/based on double occupancy: Euro 680.00
Single supplement Euro 100.00
Non-participating guest, double occupancy: Euro 380.00
Program Includes:
Four nights accommodation with private bathroom.
3 cooking lessons between Monday and Friday from 10:30 am to 2 pm. and all meals, including wine.
Price do not include:
Transfers to/from airport, flights, tips. We can arrange transfers to and from airport on request; however we recommend car hire.
